A home in Nashua on fire was called in by a good samaritan on October 1st, 2021.

I receive press releases on such incidents, and again and again, I am so incredibly proud of their service to our city. and amazed at their accomplishments. A 97-year-old woman and other people at the scene, needing care, and NFD stepped up until they could hand their charges over to AMR Ambulance.

They contained the fire to one room, saved the dog, and ensured their team had no injuries.

Seriously, when someone says that the taxes are too high – when we all know that we have excellent folks like this keeping us safe, I simply have no response except to say…

Thank you, NFD for being there for us every single day.
